Athletic prospect with size potential and a player who could grow into a competent number two tight end or even a possible weak-side linebacker. Quick off the line as a pass catcher, not a bad route runner and comes back to the ball out of his breaks, finding the open spot in the defense. Runs well laterally, adjusts to the errant throw, while also displaying the speed to make plays in the defensive backfield. Blocks low with leverage, showing footwork and the ability to protect the edge. Works hard all play long. Still needs a lot of work on his overall game; bends at the waist and lacks blocking strength and would not be classified as a “natural pass catcher”. Must gather himself to make the reception and not efficient. Effective in the past as a special teams player, a role he must excel fill at the next level while he fine tunes his new position.
