Athletic, heady signal caller best throwing in the short field. Quick setting up in the pocket, displays solid footwork and a patient passer that buys time for his receivers. Stands in against the rush, scans the field and can make the throw on the move. Throws with an over-the-top delivery, correctly following through on his top foot. Lacks the big arm, does not throw tight spirals or display the ability to drive the ball downfield. Late on his timing passes, directs his throws and the ball is usually behind his wideouts. Does not put air under his deep passes and the further downfield he must throw the ball, the more scattered and the less accurate he is.
