Nice-sized cornerback that may ultimately be kicked inside to safety. Fluid transitioning to run with opponents off the line, displays solid footwork and moves well laterally. Positions himself and uses his body to box out receivers defending the throw, fighting hard throughout the play. Quick coming up the field to support the run and a good special teams player that has blocked kicks in the past. Solid in zone coverage but has difficulties in man-to-man situations; not quick reacting to receivers off the line of scrimmage, usually a half step behind opponents and has difficulty staying with them in or out of their breaks. Lacks closing and recovery speed and does more chasing than actual reading of the play. A late-round selection and defensive back whose primary responsibilities lay on special teams. Mid Sixth Round.
