Two-year starter who successfully returned from a broken leg last season. Finished with 52/223/4.3/3 carrying the ball, also recording 6/75/12.5/1 catching it. Played in only one game as a redshirt junior before sustaining his injury. Totaled 32/157/4.9/3 his junior season in '99. All-Academic award winner in the past.
Tough, athletic fullback that does the little things well. Quick off the snap, accelerates into his blocks and takes opponents out of the play. Displays solid blocking vision, looks for someone to hit and turns defenders off the line. Tenacious in all aspects of his game. Runs with forward lean carrying the ball, strong in his lower body and breaks tackles. Adequate hands out of the backfield. Stiff, lacks body adjustment and does not play a fast game. May be downgraded because of his prior leg injury but we fully expect to see him on a roster next September. Early Seventh Round.
