Former walk-on that moved into the fulltime starting position last year as a senior. Second on the team in receiving posting 41/760/18.5/6, after totaling 15/326/21.7/3 in 2000 as a junior, a year in which he tore ligaments in his right knee with three games remaining in the season.

Hard-working football player whose injuries may have taken a toll on him. Adjusts well to the errant throw, gets down to scoop up the low balls and displays good eye/hand coordination. Works his way back to the quarterback to make himself an available target and also catches the pass in stride. Effectively blocks downfield for the running game and gives effort on special teams. Lacks consistent hands, a situation made worse when he takes his eye off the ball. Does not display the top end speed and not getting deep separation. Sized well but would not classify him as a possession receiver to this point. Needs a little more on the field experience but has some underlying tools to work with as well as the desire to succeed. Not likely to be drafted but will be brought into a camp next year. Free Agent.
