Overaged lineman originally slated to play in 1995 before leaving on a religious mission. Started at left tackle three of the past four seasons and was an All-Conference selection as a senior. Missed almost the entire 1999 campaign after tearing a knee ligament during the season's first game.
Tough, hard-working lineman best in confined quarters. Strong at the point of attack, gets movement from his run blocks or turns opponents out. Also rides oncoming rushers out of their pass rush angle, working his hands nicely throughout the play. Quick recognizing his blocking assignments or helping out line mates. Not quick or explosive off the snap, does not break down well and blocks tall. Not light on his feet, bends at the waist and has difficulty if asked to kick out or counter. Some size potential but will be a 26-year-old rookie come next September. Free Agent.
