Nice-sized wideout that may just be coming into his own. Displays solid hand technique getting off jams at the line of scrimmage, goes over the middle and finds the soft spot in the defense. Runs well laterally, uses his frame to shield away opponents and extends vertically for the pass, exposing himself to getting hit. Good eye/hand coordination, adjusts to the errant throw and makes the difficult reception down the field running full tilt. Times and anticipates his receptions well, looks the ball in and works to pick up the positive yardage running after the catch. Improved his focus and concentration immeasurably last season and did a solid job making himself an available target for the quarterback. Lacks the top end speed and a second gear down the flanks, does not show the strong hands and had difficulty battling opponents or making the catch in traffic. Does not always read or adjust to defensive blitzes, slow releasing off the line of scrimmage and more times than not he rounds off his routes, showing minimal quickness in and out of his breaks. Did not distinguish himself at the Senior Bowl and he had the opportunity to keep the momentum going from his senior campaign. Went from a non-factor in the draft to a middle round choice last season and could end up as a solid third or fourth receiver for a team. Early fifth round.
