Junior-college transfer and second team All-Conference choice last season after moving into the fulltime starting position and throwing for 59.9%/2,380/13/9. Completed 57.9%/778/6/4 the prior season when he started three games.

Heady signal caller with great leadership intangibles. Quick setting up to deliver the ball, displays solid footwork and patient in the pocket. Senses pressure, steps up to avoid the rush and buys time for his receivers. Gets outside the pocket, makes plays on the move, taking what the defense gives him. Pulls the ball down and runs with it if nothing is available and for the most part does not make bad decisions. Sells his play-action passes, smartly places his throws and puts the ball out in front of receivers letting them run to it. Takes control of the offense and does a fine job with the tools he has. Throws with a three-quarters motion, lacks the quick release and big arm. Steps out of his throws, which hurts his overall accuracy. Stares down his primary target on occasion and the further downfield he must throw the ball, the more scattered his passes are. From an effort and intangible point of view this prospect grades out highly but his inability to throw the ball with any velocity will knock him out of the draft. Free Agent.
