College quarterback that saw extensive playing action both as a starter and backup since he was a true freshman. All-Conference selection as a senior leading the team in rushing with 206/1,004/4.9/10 on the ground and completing 60.5%/2,360/17/11 through the air. Ground numbers were 172/947/5.5/13 as a junior with 57.5%/1,691/10/6 passing. Rushed for 588 yards and 4 scores as a sophomore.

Nice-sized athlete that must now change positions at the next level. At quarterback he is a mobile passer with the ability to get outside the pocket and effectively the throw on the run. Solid footwork setting up to throw, displays a fluid delivery but does not sense pressure and did a lot of pumping and patting of the ball before getting it out of his hand, slowing his release. Elusive runner that cuts it back to avoid piles, sees the field and quick footed. Sets up defenders and makes them miss, but also strong breaking the initial tackle to pick up yardage off initial contact. Lacks a burst of speed and cannot run to daylight. Used as both a running back and punt returner at the Senior Bowl and though he improved as the week progressed, he still had a tough go of it. When lined up in the backfield he had a difficult time playing behind the fullback, seeing the field and was unable to play the freelance style of football he was accustomed to in college. Good athlete with a large amount of upside potential but very raw and needs a lot of technical work. Mid Sixth Round.
