Junior-college transfer that made an immediate impact at Oregon in 2000, leading the team in rushing by totaling 286/1,188/4.2/8 and catching 23/208/9.0/2. Awarded second team All- Conference honors for his efforts that season. Split the starting duties last year as a senior and finished with 169/960/5.7/8 on the ground and 12/99/8.2/1 as a pass catcher.
Quick, elusive runner and a possible situational back at the next level. Patient back with vision who waits for his blocks to develop and then follows them finding the running lane. Quick through the hole, fast enough to turn the corner and makes defenders miss with elusive footwork. Works his runs, uses an effective straight arm and puts his shoulders into the opponent when tackled. Solid receiver out of the backfield with top football instincts. Not strong running the ball, rarely picks up yardage off initial contact and easily brought down by the first defender. More quick than fast, cannot run to daylight or beat defenders in the open field. Combination of quickness and receiving skills should find him a place as a third down back. Late Fourth Round.
