Three-year starter that excelled as both a receiver and kick returner. Teams leading receiver last season with 91/1,331/14.6/10 and a second team All-Conference choice. Played in only five regular season games as a junior after a calf injury sidelined him and finished the year with 33/389/11.8/2 receiving and 13/21.5/0 returning kicks. Again, led the team as a redshirt sophomore catching 68/1,007/14.8/7 and averaged 25/21.6/0 returning kicks.
Quick, explosive receiver that stretches the defense. Fast off the line of scrimmage, quick getting separation and though small, uses his frame nicely to shield away opponents. Works hard to make the catch, elusive when the ball is in his hands and displays the ability to run away from opponents. Plays faster then his forty-time. Comes back to the ball, extends his hands and looks the pass in. Keeps the play in bounds and works to pick up yardage running after the catch. Does not always cleanly catch the ball and often lets the pass get inside him, clutching it against his body. Though tough he is not strong at the point of attack and is slowed by jams or has difficulty when battling opponents for the reception. Very productive and consistent collegian that can make it as a slot receiver at the next level if he keeps his focus and concentration. Late Seventh Round.
