Second team All-Conference selection last year as a junior when he broke through as a fulltime starter, totaling 36/1.5/11.5, also breaking up seven passes. 19/3.5/2 as a sophomore when he was rotated into the first unit after 11/0/2 as a true freshman.

Big, powerful, inside thug best stuffing the run. Quick off the snap with a nice first step, plays with excellent forward lean and gets leverage on opponents. Focused on by the opposition yet still bull rushes lineman off the ball and collapses the pocket. Effective off the line of scrimmage, makes plays down the field or laterally to the flanks. Cannot be handled in one-on-one blocking. Hard hitting but not instinctive and slow locating the ball at times. Puts his head down, rushes forward and over pursues the action. Must use his hands better, improve his technique and learn some moves. Could also improve the consistency and intensity of his game. A very early selection that will impact the game at the next level if he puts his mind to it, focuses and dedicates himself. Early First Round.
