Two-year starter awarded All-Conference and All-American honors as both a senior and junior. Big East Defensive Player of the Year last season when his numbers were 50/25.5/17.5. Set a conference record for sacks, leading the nation in that category. Also led the league in tackles for loss. Junior totals were 32/18/13 after recording just 19 tackles as a sophomore.

Explosive pass rushing specialist that may have to move off the line of scrimmage. Quick off the snap with a great first step, plays low to the ground with leverage and rarely off his feet. Gets tremendous upfield momentum going and also displays the ability to chase the action from the backside, pursuing the ballcarrier with speed. Breaks down well, quick and fluid changing direction and possesses a great burst of closing speed. Effective in either a three point stance or when stood up over tackle, can play off the line of scrimmage and efficient in the short field. Relentless, works hard and stays with the action, always trying to make something positive happen. Short, has difficulty if opponents run at him and taken out of the play by opposing tight ends. Engulfed by larger opponents and all too often must take wide angles to the action in order to avoid blockers altogether. Could be perfect as an outside linebacker in a three-four scheme and will be a productive professional if he learns to use his speed and explosion making plays in reverse as well as up the field. Late First Round.
