Former linebacker who moved into the starting lineup as a red shirt sophomore and has won All-Conference honors the past three-years. Finished his senior season with 50/3/10 after 56/7.5/11.5, and one interception the prior year. Totaled 45/13/18 as a red shirt sophomore.

Athletic, edge-rushing specialist with a penchant for making big plays behind the line of scrimmage. Quick off the snap with an explosive first step, plays with forward lean and moves well laterally. Pursues the ballcarrier from the backside with speed and fast closing on the action. Can play in space and effective off the line of scrimmage. Rarely off his feet. Not strong in his upper body, rather easily handled at the point of attack once engaged with the opponent and not always relentless in his pursuit of the action. Seemingly gives up and will not chase the play if the ball is not in his immediate vicinity. Has difficulty if teams run directly at him. Could be lined up over tackle in a three-four scheme, but should he add bulk to his frame and if he commits himself the task at hand, should grow into an every-down defensive lineman. Has the physical skills to make an impact at the next level but must match the dedication-level if he's to achieve it. Early Second Round.
