Three-year starter and an All-Conference selection as a senior when he totaled 38/12.5/2. Again, All-Conference as a junior when his numbers were 38/11/6.5 after 35/6/1 as a red shirt sophomore.

Quick, explosive lineman that makes plays against both the run and pass. Terrific first step off the snap, breaks down well and plays with leverage. Works hard, keeps his feet moving up the field and relentless in his pursuit of the ballcarrier. Moves well laterally, fast to the flanks and catches the action when chasing from the backside. Can twist or stunt, displays a quick and fluid change of direction and rarely off his feet. Not big nor is he a wide-bodied lineman and engulfed by opponents. Uses his hands to stay off blocks but not strong at the point of attack and driven off the line of scrimmage by bigger opponents. If put in the proper scheme a productive player at the next level; the only problem is there are only a certain few systems he will be able to flourish in. Still, a top notch defensive line prospect which is a hot commodity come draft day. Early Second Round.
