Andre Gurode | OG | Colorado | Big Twelve Conference
Selected by Dallas Cowboys in round 2, pick 5 (37 overall)
Height Weight 40 Grade
6'4 316 5.34 3.84
Four-year starter that has played extensively at both center and guard. All-Conference choice as both a senior and junior.

Big, dominant force in the middle of the offensive line. Blocks with forward lean, leverage and plays smart football. Powerful in both his upper and lower body, destroys opponents, removing them off the line of scrimmage, taking them out of the action. Plays with a tough, nasty attitude, looks to hit someone and finishes his blocks. Not nimble but displays excellent arm punch and rides opponents out of their angle of attack. Quick in his head picking up stunts or blitzes and works well with his line-mates. Can shuffle and slide in pass protection but not quick or fluid about it, not light on his feet and lacks body adjustment. Slow blocking on the second level and better in confined quarters. His inability to move space coupled with the dominance he offers blocking for the run makes us feel his best position at the next level is at guard where he could be a stalwart for years to come. Early Second Round.
