Eddie Freeman
Conference USA
Four-year starter and a second team All-Conference selection as a senior. Finished the year with 55/10/3 after 34/10/5 the prior season. Made a big impact his initial two-years in the program when he totaled 56/5/4 as a sophomore and 39/11/3 as a redshirt freshman.

Versatile lineman that can be used at either tackle or end. Quick off the snap with a terrific first step, keeps his feet moving forward and gets push up the field. Plays with forward lean, effective with his hands and displays a solid arm over move. Reads and anticipates the action, disciplined and defends both running plays or screen passes as well as getting up the field to sack the quarterback. Works hard, chases to get involved in the action and pursues the ballcarrier from the backside with adequate speed. Not a natural knee bender, bends at the waist and must do a better job protecting himself as he becomes an easy target for opponents. Could be used at the left defensive end position but if he learns to play with leverage and physically matures, a productive tackle at the next level in the future. Early to mid Second Round.
