Four-year starter used at both tackle positions as well as guard. All-Conference selection as a guard after his senior campaign. Spent most of his previous time with the first unit at left tackle.
Athletic, versatile lineman with a large degree of upside potential. Bends his knees, plays with leverage and powerful at the point of attack. Gets movement from his run blocks and anchors in pass protection displaying the ability to move laterally and protect the edge. Can shuffle and slide his feet, effective with his hands and keeps the opponent in front of him. Blocks on the second level and effectively walls-off defenders. Had a tendency to get lazy or lackadaisical with his techniques and not as dominant as he could be. Seemed to pick it up as a senior and if he continually applies himself there is future ahead of him at the next level. Late Fifth Round.
