Three-year starter that was awarded All-Conference honors as both a freshman and junior. Led the team in tackles last season totaling 120/1/5 after suffering through an injury plagued sophomore campaign in which he posted 56/2/1 in seven games. Impacted the program as a redshirt freshman leading the team in tackles, posting 131/1/8.

Top-flight safety prospect with a large upside to his game. Smart, quick reading or anticipating the action and plays with a large degree of discipline. Forceful moving up the field to defend the run, displays a burst of closing speed and squares into his tackles wrapping up. Likes to mix it up, hard hitting and takes good angles to the action. Possesses adequate lateral speed, positions himself to make a play on the ball and does not get beat deep. Lacks the great burst of closing speed to the play, does not redirect well and better moving forward than going in reverse. Though he moves well laterally he does not display top range for a deep safety. Turned in a solid but not spectacular junior campaign and it was not one that would throw him into the upper echelon of this draft. A solid pro prospect if he refines his technique and potentially a starter in the future, though it may take him some time to develop. Late Fourth Round.
