Second team All-Conference selection last year after totaling 52/7/4. Played through an injury ravaged junior campaign participating in only nine games and finished the season with 28/3/1. Led the team in sacks as a redshirt sophomore when his numbers were 51/12/7. Played extensively with the first unit as a freshman posting 50/17/8.

Athletic, pass rushing end best suited for a four-three defensive scheme. Quick off the snap, breaks down well and plays with leverage. Effectively redirects to the action, stays on his feet and uses his hands to keep opponents off him. Displays terrific range and fluid moving in any direction of the field, getting a good amount of momentum going towards the ballcarrier. Undersized, lacks growth potential and possesses only an adequate first step off the snap for a smallish end. Slow shedding blocks once engaged with opponents, moved off the line of scrimmage and even handled by tight ends. Came back nicely as a senior off the injuries the prior year and a definite consideration in the late rounds. Could end up being seventh or eighth lineman on a team and fill the roll as a pass rush specialist. Early seventh round.
