Three-year starter that saw extensive action as a true freshman. Hurt his knee against Michigan during the seventh game of the season last year and final numbers were 49/7.5/0. Performed well as a junior when he totaled 65/8/2 after 63/4/7 his sophomore campaign.
Quick interior plugger best against the run. Explodes off the snap with a great first step, plays with forward lean and uses his hands to stay off blocks. Breaks down well, can twist or stunt and rarely off his feet. Keeps his feet driving forward giving top effort but small, handled in one-on-one blocking situations or engulfed by opponents. Lacks sustained speed, range and not much of a pass rusher. Needed a big senior year but ended up injuring his knee which will downgrade him severely. Late Seventh Round.
