Athletic linebacker who simply does not make enough plays against the ball. Moves with speed in both a straight line or laterally, effectively scrapes to the action and shows a closing burst of speed pursuing to the ballcarrier. Slides off blocks, squares into tackles and wraps up. Solid in zone coverage defending the pass and covers a good deal of range. Forceful off the corner on the blitz. Slow getting off blocks once directly engaged with opponents, not quick reading or anticipating the action nor is he an instinctive. Nice size/speed numbers that shows flashes of ability but not enough consistency to excite you. Developmental prospect that must make it as a special teams player. Free Agent.
