Two-year starter who led BYU in tackles as both a junior and senior, seasons in which he was a first team All-Conference pick. Totaled 101/11/1/1/3 last year after 107/11/3/0/4 the prior season. Played extensively as a redshirt sophomore totaling 49 tackles and awarded second team All-Conference honors.

Tough and heady defender effective against both the pass and run. Quick reading or anticipating the action, recognizes his assignments and constantly around the football. Disciplined, takes good angles to the action and looks to mix it up. Flows laterally to the play and pass covers well in zone. Does not get depth on his pass drops nor display top range, lacks a burst of speed and slow shedding blocks when meeting opponents head on. Not overly explosive or sudden. Solid backup middle linebacker for the future and a player that could start in the pinch. Mid Fifth Round.
