Moved into the starting lineup midway through his freshman campaign. Totaled 53/4.5/1/1/3 as a senior when he was a second team All-Conference selection after 67/2/1/1/0 as a junior. Most productive season came as a redshirt freshman when his numbers were 85/10/6/0/5. Son of former NFL great Ronnie Lott.
Athletic prospect that never built upon what was a good freshman campaign. Pass covers well in a short area, fluid moving to the flanks and adequate covering tight ends off the snap of the ball. Works hard, likes to hit and get involved in the action. Not flashy or explosive, lacks a burst of speed and has some hesitation to his game. Bothered by a shoulder injury the past two seasons which could be the reason for the fall off in play. Must get it back to where he was early in his career and build from there. Free Agent.
