Three-year starter that played extensively since he was a true freshman. Played in nine games last season and totaled 30/1/5. First team All-Conference selection as a junior after posting 27/2/8. Impacted as a true sophomore totaling 50/2/6 on defense and also blocking two field goal attempts. Sporadically used to return punts in the past.
Undersized but explosive cover corner that likes to mix it up. Fluid transitioning off the line to run with opponents, displays solid footwork and a closing burst of speed. Runs downfield with opponents, has a nice break on the pass and works to defend the throw. Gives top effort and displays solid cover skills. Gets a jam in on opponents at the line but not strong at the point of attack and does not slow them up. Has difficulty with big, physical opponents and though a willing volunteer in run support, he's rather easily taken out of the play by blocks. At times hesitant reacting to the ball while it's in the air. Does not have the size to be an every down corner but could be an effective and inexpensive nickel or dime back at the next level.
