Athletic defensive prospect coming off a poor senior campaign. Plays low to the ground with leverage, smooth and fluid changing direction and makes plays laterally. Finds his way through the traffic to the ballcarrier, displays great range and flashes on the scene. Knifes between defenders getting to the action and stays on his feet. Disciplined and not only concerned with rushing the passer, but defending the run as well. Not big, fast and slow shedding blocks once engaged with the opponent. Did not show any special trait to his game last year after he seemed poised to take the next step following his junior campaign. Plays faster than his 40 time but still not fast for a linebacker and lacks the size to line up in a three-point stance at the next level. Should definitely be given a look with the hopes that last year was an aberration. Free Agent.
