Three-year starter that also played on the university's baseball team. First team All-Conference selection as a senior posting 57/3/12. Junior totals were 63/4/14 after 71/2/8 as a sophomore, a season in which he played both cornerback and free safety. Ran below 4.40 during individual workouts.

Athletic corner coming off a disappointing senior campaign. Quick and fluid back pedaling off the line, smooth in his hips transitioning to run with opponents and displays a good break on the ball as well as closing speed defending the pass. Reads the quarterback, times and anticipates his break-ups nicely and displays solid hands pulling the interception out of the air. Keeps the play in front of him and works hard to help support the run. Strong but was out-positioned or out- muscled by opponents last season when he had the opportunity to make a play against the ball. Seemingly lost his sense of what was happening on the field and took longer than usual to locate the pass in the air. Turned it back on during Senior Bowl week but it may not have been enough to move him into the initial two frames which many thought possible coming into the season. Overall, a solid player with both cover skills and instincts who will be productive at the next level once he gets the confidence back up to snuff. Mid Third Round.
