Three-year starter that saw extensive time with the first unit as a true freshman. Totaled 22/5/2 as a senior after sitting out the entire 2000 campaign with a shoulder injury. Junior totals were 34/4/4 after 32/2/1 as a sophomore when he played the rush linebacker position. Totaled 50 tackles as a true freshman when used at inside linebacker. Father Gerald played in the NFL and brother Jarrett was a top linebacker at Michigan in the mid 90's.

Top athlete that never developed fully as a football prospect. Breaks down well, plays with leverage and holds his ground against blocks. Effectively redirects to the action, displays a burst of closing speed and gets a good deal of force going up the field. Strong at the point of attack, holds his ground against blocks and rarely off his feet. Not instinctive or explosive, slow locating the ball and gets wired in blocks all to easily. Displays spurts of ability but then disappears for stretches. Hampered by injuries throughout his college career. Never built upon the abilities he showed early in his career and the lack of consistency coupled with injury problems makes him an unlikely draft choice. Free Agent.
