Fifth-year prospect who has started three of the past four years at either guard or center. Second team All-Conference selection as a senior at center. Redshirted as a true freshman and sat out the 2000 season with a shoulder injury, spending only three years on the football field.
Hard-working, quick lineman with a nice feel for his position. Explosive off the snap into his blocks, quick with his hands and stays low getting leverage on opponents. Works to stay square, displays footwork in a small area and can slide laterally in pass protection. Lacks a strong base, gets pushed back off the line of scrimmage and does not block well on the move. Lack of size plus prior shoulder injuries is not a good combination. Free Agent.
