Transfer from Duke that started more than 40 games in his college career. Finished his senior season with 136/5/1/3/5 after 85 tackles as a junior and 103/10/1 during his sophomore campaign. One of the best defensive players at the Blue/Gray Game last Christmas and son of former Buffalo Bill Joe DeLamailleure, an offensive guard during the 70s.

Smart, tough linebacker with great football instinct but lousy size/speed numbers. Disciplined, quick reading or anticipating the action and takes good angles to the play. Intuitive, does not get caught out of position and constantly around the action. Efficient and not a defender that wastes a lot of movement or takes extra steps. Great awareness in pass coverage and equally as effective defending the run. Squares into his tackles, wraps up and practices solid tackling technique. Undersized and has difficulty if he does not get a clean shot at the ballcarrier. Slowed up in the traffic moving laterally, cannot get off blocks once engaged with the opponent and not strong at the point tackling the ball-handler. Lacks the great pursuit speed, not fast getting to the flanks and has difficulty covering athletic tight ends for any extended period down the field. The type of prospect that is brought into camp to add depth at linebacker but also excels on special teams. May lack the great physical skills but his mental abilities make him an asset to have on a roster. Free Agent.
