Two-year starter that finished his senior season with 32 tackles and four tackles for loss. Broke his leg in 2000 which caused him to miss the season after posting 83/4/1 as a junior when he played half the season with a dislocated shoulder.
Tough, heady defender whose history of injuries makes him a medical risk. Smart, reads and anticipates the action and cognizant of what is happening on the field. Plays assignment football, takes good angles to the action and efficient. Holds his ground against blocks but lacks overall speed, suddenness and slow moving to the flanks.
