Tough, hard-working linebacker best in the box. Good athlete who runs well laterally, slides off blocks and plays with a high-revving motor. Displays a burst of closing speed, forceful moving up the field and works to get involved in the action. Pursues well to the play and wraps up tackling. Gets depth on his pass drops and displays range but slow locating the ball, hesitant and not quick reacting to cover assignments. Flat-out lacks pass cover instincts. Ran well at the combine and overall had a solid performance but must learn to make plays off the line of scrimmage and going in reverse to have a chance at making an impact next year.
