Tenacious defender that projects to outside linebacker. Breaks down well, plays with forward lean and rarely off his feet. Uses his hands to keep opponents off him, moves well laterally and pursues to the flanks with speed. Effective off the line of scrimmage in zone blitz situations, displays a quick and fluid change of direction and relentless in his pursuit of the action. Undersized for an end, slow shedding blocks and can be engulfed by bigger opponents. Also does not display the outright speed to be considered as a full-time linebacker.
