Former running back that started every game for the Texas Longhorns the past Four-years at both inside and outside linebacker. All-Conference selection as a senior when he totaled 81/9/4.5/0/2. Again, All-Conference as a junior when his numbers were 78/4.5/15/0/4. Totaled 78/5/9/1/0 as a sophomore, his first-year at middle linebacker.

Durable defender and a consistent producer the past Four-years. Quick in his head reading or anticipating the action, disciplined and does not get caught out of position. Takes good angles to the ballcarrier, efficient and does not waste much movement. Best defending the run and snuffs out the ballcarrier. Limited lateral movement skills, lacks the quick and fluid change of direction and does not redirect well to the play. Lacks a burst of speed to the flanks and though quick picking up pass plays, he lacks the physical skills to get to the spot and cover them. Two-down defender whose best opportunity is at middle linebacker. Mid Seventh Round.
