Three-year starter who also saw limited action with the first unit as a true freshman. Finished with 86/2.5/2/1/1 as a senior on the inside. Played in only seven games as a junior after breaking his leg and totaled 34/5/1/0/2. Posted career numbers as a sophomore with 91/16/2/2/3. Spent much of his freshman campaign at outside linebacker.
Competitive linebacker best defending the run. Displays a good head for the ball, scrapes well laterally and snuffs out the ballcarrier. Quick filling the gaps up the field, instinctive and looks to get involved in the action. Effective pass defending in a small area, displaying good hands for the ball. Not quick or explosive, lacks the sideline-to-sideline range and the pursuit speed. Does not display a smooth or fluid change of direction and best in a straight line. A little shorter than what you'd want, but could be a solid backup in the middle. Free Agent.
