Wide-bodied run stuffer that may just be hitting his stride. Quick off the snap with a nice first step, plays low with leverage and displays excellent leg drive. Doubled and focused on by opponents in the middle of the line, powerful and collapses the pocket getting a lot of upfield push. Moves well for a big man making plays up and down the line of scrimmage and showing the ability to get out of the flanks to pursue the action. Plays while injured and nicked up through his senior campaign. Must improve his overall technique and moves; not effective with his hands, all to often just bull-rushes opponents up the field and has a tough time getting off blocks once engaged with the opponent. Really stepped it up as a senior and his production defending the run will now get him serious consideration in the later rounds. If he stays in shape and continues to progress we expect him to have a good showing in camp and make the final cut next September. Mid –seventh round.
