Part time starter at linebacker the past two seasons while also seeing extensive time on special teams since he was a redshirt freshman. Recorded 46 tackles with one for loss as a senior, after 60/3/1/0/1 as a redshirt junior. Tremendous physical specimen that bulked up to 240-pounds for his schools pro-day the end of March.
Athletically gifted prospect whose yet to translate those skills onto the football field. Breaks down well, plays with leverage and displays a burst of speed to the flanks. Scrapes well laterally and quick getting off blocks. Tremendous on coverage (punt or kick) teams; one of the first players down the field and constantly flying around the ball. Not instinctive, late reading the action and not very active as a linebacker. Showed signs of turning the corner after his junior campaign but never capitalized on that last season. Right now a practice squad player you hope to develop for the future. Free Agent.
