Two-year starter at both left and right tackle. A broken foot forced him to red shirt in '99 after seeing extensive playing time as a true freshman.

Big-bodied lineman best in a small area. Blocks with forward lean, stays square and strong at the point of attack. Can shuffle and slide his feet, extends his arms and rides opponents out of their angle of attack with powerful arm punch. Quick off the snap, engulfs smaller opponents and gets movement from his run blocks. Displays some footwork in a small area and alertly picks up stunts or blitzes thrown by the defense. Lacks body adjustment, blocking range and not a natural knee bender. Lumbers when he moves, not effective using blocking angles and has difficulty going up against quick, athletic ends. Has been out of shape and overweight in the past with a history of knee problems. Has possibilities at guard if he conditions his body and keeps his weight in check. Mid Seventh Round.
