Memphis State transfer that has seen action at both tackle and guard. Played extensively for the Tigers as a red shirt freshman and sophomore before transferring to Eastern Washington in ‘99. Broke his leg as a junior, causing him to miss half the 2000 season. All-Conference selection last year as a senior.
Hard-working lineman a little too limited athletically to make it at the next level. Quick setting in pass protection, plays with a wide base and effective with his hands. Blocks down well on opponents, shows good arm punch and naturally strong. Blocks tall with minimal knee bend, lacks body adjustment and only good in confined quarters. Does not chop block well, not effective blocking on the move and does not play with balance. Could make it into a training camp but will have a tough time getting onto a final roster. Free Agent.
