Patient, disciplined and takes good angles to the ball, easily bringing opponents down on initial contact. Strong at the point of attack, holds his ground against blocks and gets through the traffic scraping laterally to the ballcarrier. Diagnoses pass plays but lacks lateral speed, not fast to the flanks and does not he get depth on his drops. Slow adjusting or redirecting his body, does not play with balance, and lacks the quick or fluid change of direction. Has difficulty playing in space.
