Round 7, pick 38 (252 overall)
BIO: Second-team All-Conference choice as a senior after totaling 106 tackles, four INTs and breaking up five passes. Started every game the prior two seasons posting 94-4-6 and 56-6-10 as a junior and sophomore, respectively.

POSITIVES: Productive run defending safety improving his pass cover skills. Disciplined in center field, plays assignment football and effectively QBs the secondary. Reads the signal caller's eyes, immediately picks up coverage duties and takes good angels to the play. Aggressive defending the run, displays a straight line burst of speed and hard hitting.

NEGATIVES: Gets high in his back pedal and very stiff. Still shows some hesitation when the ball's in the air.

ANALYSIS: Strong safety-type best in two deep coverage and a prospect who should flourish on special teams.

PROJECTION: Late Fifth Round
