KASSIM OSGOOD
Position: WR
Class: Sr
School: San Diego St.
Conference: MWC
Ht., Wt.: 6'5, 208
40 Time: 4.7
Grade: 3.44

BIO: Cal-Poly transfer awarded All-Conference honors last season after catching 108 passes for 1,552 yards with eight scores. Formerly a D-IAA All-American who set the NCAA record with 376 receiving yards in a single game.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized receiver who showed the abilities to play at a higher level of competition last season. Effective route runner, comes back to the ball out of his breaks and extends to make the difficult reception in a crowd. Runs well laterally, catches the pass in stride and picks up a lot of yardage running after the reception. Displays focus, concentration and looks the ball into his hands. Settles into the open spot on the field, uses his large frame to box out defenders and plucks the ball out of the air. Possesses both strong and soft hands.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the top end speed, not getting separation down the field and benefited from the spread offense employed at SDSU.

ANALYSIS: Answered the call as a senior but a lack of pure speed will push him into the late rounds. Would still be a fine addition for a team that needs a big bodied receiver and a prospect who could develop into a number two wide out at the next level.

PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round
