BIO: Junior-eligible and first team All Big East selection in 2002 after becoming the second player in Miami history to gain more than 1,000 receiving yards, totaling 52 receptions for 1,092 yards with nine scores. Posted four games of 100+ yards receiving. Suffered a shoulder injury midway through the 2002 campaign, which required minor surgery. Co-MVP of the 2002 Rose Bowl after a sophomore campaign that included 37-685-10 receiving. Led the conference in touchdown receptions in 2001. Played sparingly as a red-shirt freshman.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized receiver with excellent pass catching skills. Displays a good feel for the position, reads the defense, makes adjustments and gets open. Also recognizes blitzes and comes back to the QB making himself an available target. Fast, effortlessly catches the ball running full tilt and shows a nice sense of timing. Good eye-hand coordination, looks the pass in and consistently makes the reception away from his frame. Does not break stride running laterally, grabs the pass out of the air then breaks tackles and picks up a lot of yardage running after the catch. Solid special teams player and helps out on kick coverage.

NEGATIVES: Prone to inconsistency in the past, though that was not the case last season. Not a quick or explosive receiver and marginal route running skills.

ANALYSIS: Terrific natural abilities and overall football skills which will enable him to quickly come in and be a number one receiver at the next level.
