BIO: Former running back who moved to cornerback as a senior and totaled 46 tackles with eight pass defenses. Running back numbers were 70-323-3 the prior season with 18-125-0 as a pass catcher. Academically ineligible to play his initial three seasons. POSITIVES: Athletic prospect with only marginal football skills. Can flip his hips off the line, loses nothing in transition and runs well laterally with opponents. Quickly breaks on the pass and displays good speed. NEGATIVES: Lacks the fluid, natural backpedal and overall cover skills. Does not display wherewithal or a sense of timing on the field and does more chasing than actually reading the play. Slow defending the run. ANALYSIS: Offers tremendous size-speed numbers but a project in the works who must vastly improve all aspects of his game. PROJECTION: Mid Sixth Round
