BIO: Started nine of 12 games as a senior carrying the ball 31 times for 85 yards and one score. Saw action in every game as a junior but only carried the ball 12 times. Started six games as a red-shirt freshman posting 26-86-3 on the ground. Tore a ligament in his left knee upon arriving in Syracuse which forced him to red-shirt in 1998. Used extensively on special teams.
POSITIVES: Athletic fullback who displayed signs of rounding into a complete player as a senior. Agile, fluid moving about the field and quick into blocks. Plays with vision, strong at the point of attack and anchors in pass protection. Effective short yardage runner and also displays the ability to get outside around tackle. Aware of his assignments and stays with the action.
NEGATIVES: Marginal footwork pass blocking and though strong, not dominant at the point.
ANALYSIS: Stepped up his game in all facets as a senior and possesses the underlying skills to develop into a serviceable player at the next level.
PROJECTION: Late Seventh Round
