BIO: Two-year starter and All-Academic selection every season since 1999. Finished his senior campaign with 64 tackles, seven tackles for loss and five sacks, also breaking up three passes. Junior tackling totals were 66-8-3 when he broke up four passes and intercepted one. Started three games as a sophomore and registered 20-5-3.
POSITIVES: Hard working, interior lineman who could eventually develop into a starter at the next level. Explodes off the snap with a great first step, plays low with leverage and keeps moving up the field. Plays with exceptional balance, displays solid hand technique keeping opponents off him and quick reading the play or locating the ball.
NEGATIVES: Thinly built, stymied at the point or handled in one-on-one blocking situations.
ANALYSIS: Must physically mature adding bulk and size to his frame which will compliment the tenacity and intelligence he already plays with. Offers the possibilities to play left defensive end.
PROJECTION: Late Fourth Round
