BIO: Hinds Community College transfer who impacted the program upon arrival in 2001. First-team All-League selection as a senior totaling 55 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and seven sacks. Played 11 games with the first team as a junior posting 59-15-7, also breaking up four passes and intercepting one. Younger brother to Detroit Lions offensive tackle Stockar McDougle.
POSITIVES: Relentless defender who chases around the field to get involved in the action. Plays low to the ground, quick off the snap and fast rushing the edge. Fluid changing direction, flatens then pursues the ball carrier from the backside with speed. Collapses laterally defending the run and a heady, disciplined lineman who makes plays against the ball.
NEGATIVES: Undersized, easily knocked from his angle of attack or handled in one-on-one blocking situations. Rarely used off the line of scrimmage or asked to play in space.
ANALYSIS: Viable pass rushing end in a four-three alignment with the possibilities to stand up over tackle in a 34 defense.
PROJECTION: Mid First Round
