BIO: Junior college transfer hampered by injuries the past two seasons. Started two games as a senior totaling 35 tackles, 6 1/2 tackles for loss and six sacks but suffered a season ending knee injury against Pittsburgh during the 10th game of the season. Received a medical red-shirt in 2001 after missing the final 10 games of the season with a toe injury. impacted the program during his initial campaign by starting five games and totaling 27-7-3 in 2000.
POSITIVES: Athletic pass rusher who's career and development has been hampered by injury. Quick off the snap, plays with good lean and displays an inside move. Agile, redirects to the action and fast rushing the edge.
NEGATIVES: Undersized and handled at the point of attack. Has not seen much starting action.
ANALYSIS: Injuries coupled with the depth of talent on the Hurricane front four limited his playing time the past two seasons. May be moved to outside linebacker in a 34 defense, but an inability to perform for scouts in the post season will push him deep into the draft for what would’ve otherwise been a highly sought out prospect.
PROJECTION: Early Sixth Round
