BIO: Sixth year collegian who's older brother Kabeer formerly played with the Aztecs and now stars with the Green Bay Packers. Totaled 47 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and five sacks last season after 29-8-5 the prior year. Tore an achilles tendon after the first game of the 2000 season which sidelined him the rest of the year. Moved into the starting lineup as a red-shirt sophomore and compiled 14-2-1.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized athlete who can play left defensive end or inside at tackle. Breaks down well, plays with forward lean and moves laterally making plays up and down the line of scrimmage. Forceful and wedges between blockers or drives opposing lineman off the ball. Active and makes a lot of plays in the backfield.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the explosive first step off the snap, smooth change of direction and slow regaining his balance off the initial block. Overall game lacks suddenness and explosion.

ANALYSIS: Bigger and stronger than his older brother but not nearly the pass rusher or play maker. Growth potential gives him a possible future on the inside.

PROJECTION: Late Sixth Round
