Round 2, pick 15 (47 overall)
BIO: Four-year starter who moved in with the first team as a red-shirt freshman. Broke his own school record as a senior with 117 tackles, also totaling 19 tackles for loss, four sacks, intercepting one pass and breaking up five more. Originally set the record as a junior with 106 tackles after 77 the prior season. Used at both weak side and middle linebacker.

POSITIVES: Forceful, run defending linebacker best up the field. Patient, reads the action and stays with assignments. Plays with a nasty attitude, adjusts off blocks and aggressively attacks opposing ball carriers, wrapping up and bringing them down on initial contact. Flows to the play laterally, quick filling the gaps and snuffs out the ball carrier.

NEGATIVES: Lacks suddenness, range and limited skills in pass defense. Cannot quickly change direction and best in a straight line.

ANALYSIS: Solid two down defender who will flourish at the next level if his pass cover assignments are kept to a minimum.

PROJECTION: Mid Fourth Round
